For the first time in a while, I took a break.
The amount of things to do and to think about just became too much for me. School. Homework. Home. Life. Social Media. School homework home life social media. Schoolhomeworkhomelifesocialmedia. Everything started to become a blur, and I needed to slow down and breathe. So for the first time ever in my life, I decided to cut class on my own and to do what I wanted to do with the people I wanted to be with. It was refreshing. I didn't have to worry about anything or be someone that I was thought as to be. I wore what I wanted to wear and not something that I was required to. I just got to live. Turns out, when I came back to class the next day, when I checked up on my blog and Instagram again, when I came home, I didn't miss anything which got me to think that when life hits you and distracts you from feeling anything worse than okay, take a step back, breathe, clear your head, do whatever you need to do to mentally be okay, and then go back when you're ready. Everything will still be there for you to pick up on when you're okay. Because nobody wants to be fighting bullshit every second.
